You will not find a guide with 4000 acres in one ranch in Chama New Mexico that has a better place to hunt Elk. I have hunted for 12 years in Unit 4 and no one has treated me and my customers, family and friends like these folks do. Watch out for the guides that tell you they are going to guide you just to get there and find out that they have 30 hunters in camp. Lee and his guides are outstanding Elk Hunters and they only take a limited size group each week of the hunt. You had better start now getting in shape if you plan to keep up with these guys. The accommodations are as nice as any five star hotels you have stayed at looking over the Brazos River . Valerie, Lee's wife is an excellent chef and you never go hungry with first class meals.
